Summary

The EPA has terminated $20 billion in climate grants from the Biden administration’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, claiming concerns of fraud, waste, and conflicts of interest.

Administrator Lee Zeldin claimed the program lacked oversight and favored politically connected nonprofits.

Three of the affected groups have sued, arguing the funding freeze was unlawful. Democrats, including Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, accused Zeldin of acting without evidence and catering to fossil fuel interests.

    Same as it ever was.

It’s just a problem because they’re grants to non-profits for something he doesn’t like and not subsidies to for-profit companies for dinosaur juice.

The only environment he cares about is the corporate hydrocarbon environment.
