    its cool that we are selling predominantly to china instead of the us now, but id rather our big farm leech oligarchy would plant shit for US to eat instead of exporting soy tax-free (because of their aggressive lobbying).

    fuck capitalism and fuck the oligarch families starving us for 500 years. we desperately need land reform and redistribution.

    i literally never tasted the world-class brazilian coffee, just the (pricey) garbage grains leftover after the gringos get it. most of us can’t even afford the beef we are also famous for anymore…

    Current soy volumes being shipped do not yet reflect the effects of the new trade war, the analysts said. They believe an escalation will direct more Chinese demand to Brazil over time, as was the case in 2018.

      that shift was happening gradually even before 2018, it just accelerated recently. i predict the tariffs will in fact accelerate it even more.
