There’s a whole lot of “I’m just doing my job” in this retelling. When will these assholes stand up to the fascist regime operating torture chambers.
That wasn’t an acceptable excuse at the Nuremberg trials.
I prefer the word accepted in that sentence, because I sure don’t find it acceptable.
But hundreds of thousands, or millions of other Nazis were never tried or punished for their crimes. Indeed, it was usually the ones who gave the orders who were tried.
