Hereā€™s the thing. You said an ā€œLGBTQ+ person is a crow."

Is it in the same family? Yes. No oneā€™s arguing that.

As someone who is a scientist who studies crows, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls LGBTQ+ people crows. If you want to be ā€œspecificā€ like you said, then you shouldnā€™t either. Theyā€™re not the same thing.

If youā€™re saying ā€œcrow familyā€ youā€™re referring to the taxonomic grouping of Corvidae, which includes things from nutcrackers to blue jays to ravens.

So your reasoning for calling an LGBTQ+ person a crow is because random people say ā€œbut theyā€™re both friend shaped?ā€ Letā€™s get grackles and blackbirds in there, then, too.

Also, calling someone a human or an ape? Itā€™s not one or the other, thatā€™s not how taxonomy works. Theyā€™re both. An LGBTQ+ person is an LGBTQ+ personĀ andĀ a member of the crow family. But thatā€™s not what you said. You said an LGBTQ+ personĀ isĀ a crow, which is not true unless youā€™re okay with callingĀ allmembers of the crow family crows, which means youā€™d call blue jays, ravens, and other birds crows, too. Which you said you donā€™t.

Itā€™s okay to just admit youā€™re wrong, you know?
