My friend just moved back to the US after living in Red Deer for several years. I’ve heard all about it. I thought she was crazy to give up permanent residency, but if that was her whole experience with Canada (plus her cheating scumbag ex husband), I kind of get it.
But, much like Texas, there are also a lot of decent people in Alberta who deserve better, so hopefully things work out alright.
Dont underestimate how dumb Alberta can be. Culturally, we’re very much like Texas
Then push hard on her being a woman lording her power over more deserving men. Texas doesn’t like women getting all uppity like that.
