Indeed. Yet, at least to me, it’s informative nonetheless… just around 2 weeks ago I noticed that mapy.cz was no longer available and it really saddened me because it was the only alternative and serious contender to Google (…other than OSM, of course.)

I think they started that journey long time ago when they started using open street maps for the rest of the world. I think they have the best styling of the maps. That said I am using Organic Maps, because they are open source. But many friends of mine, that are not from Czech republic already use mapy.cz for quite some time :)
What does mapy replace US app wise pls? Is it too obvious to say Google maps?
They recently made multi-country offline maps a premium feature. I’m moving away from them. Not to mention my personal grudge over that gorge in Romania.
