I wouldn’t call Scream a parody. Scary Movie was the parody. Scream was just self aware that it was a scary movie in a universe where scary movies exist.
I don’t think about it at all. In fact, reading the title, I had no idea what was special about this specific day.
I like lots of natural light, EXCEPT, when there’s a TV involved, then you have to manage the glare.
I’m a Northern American, and it never made sense to me either. I have tried it, but it didn’t do much for me. I doubt that wherever I tried it was the best representation of the dish, so, maybe I have yet to experience the real magic of it, but the idea of sticky syrup all over something I usually eat with my hands is not appealing to me.
Would you be happier doing what those people did? I don’t think so. But they might have been happier doing it that way. You do you, you’ve earned it! Enjoy the extra time with your family, you may not get another chance like this for a long time!
