  • No one in “management” in the Democrats (or Republicans) has ever demonstrated anything that would be akin to “great technical skill”. It’s not like Chuck Schumer was like really good at the technical aspect of writing bills.

I’d say the core statement is true, just not as you’ve outlined it: empty suits who can charm and schmooze those in charge get hired and promoted and they’re neither good at business strategy nor personnel management.

  • They need to stand up for their trans students, but they also need to be there for their student athletes who have no personal objections to trans students, but don’t think its fair they get to compete in sports which are not for their birth gender.

That’s literally not standing up for rights. Their rights don’t extend to dictating who else can play sports because they think they’d be too good. Hey, you know another group that some people would claim, for some pretty suspect prejudices, they are too good at sports? Black people. There’s certainly a much more disproportionate number of top black athletes than there are top trans athletes.

And you pretending like there is either wholeheartedly proves your mental immaturity to not be able to see other’s point of views at best, and at worse confirms your ignorance beyond any reasonable doubt.

Fucking lol, wall-of-text-man who still couldn’t explain precisely why he won’t answer the parallel question and has been universally downvoted since he explained his position enough to make the transphobia evident. Hopefully someday you’ll be embarrassed of your present self.

  • There are a lot of people spending pretty hefty sums to send their kids to private schools, but the school disparity referenced above is across public schools. Most kids still go to public school.

Schools are funded centrally. I don’t know enough to know how the funds are distributed, but I don’t think the disparity is just corruption sending more money per student to the rich areas. But there are still a lot of things that (on average) can cause disparate results. The best teachers would rather live in nicer areas, rich parents can pay for tutors and extra curriculars, rich parents likely have more access to politicians or administrators to make sure the school is serving their kid, poverty itself is disruptive to learning, etc.

The lesson I take from it isn’t that state funding is a bad idea, but that it’s not a silver bullet to erase the difference in educational opportunity.

  • The department actually temporarily changed the web address to insert “deimedal-of-honor”, which then led to a “404 - Page not found” message, according to a screenshot captured by the Internet Archive on March 15.

A U.S. official said the website was mistakenly taken down during an automated removal process.

There’s no remote possibility that an automated process did that. Show me the code that “accidentally” replaces the word “medal” with “deimedal” and only happens to hit the page of a Black war hero. It doesn’t fucking exist.

Fucking check their statements with someone before publishing, media stenographers. This is a lie and anyone who wrote software could tell you that.
