    Whenever something is based in Cyprus I always think it’s just a shell for some Russian company. Or money laundering.

      Seriously, just use Mullvad DNS. Free and Swedish (also very trustworthy brand).

      I believe their development team is indeed Russia bader. However i dont think this is (currently) affecting their business/pivacy guarantees

        LinkedIn says that while most of their personnel are of Russian origin, they are mostly based in Cyprus too. Less than 10% works from Russia as far as I can tell

        I’ve used Adguard for years and follow both their blog and telegram channel and they’re great IMO. All the apps are superb, they really care about privacy, and are often the first to update their apps to fix stuff like Googles anti adblock crap on YouTube etc.
