Yeah same. I don’t have many friends and those I do I neglect. I don’t deserve them.

Just moved house, working 2 jobs, finding it hard to fit everything in

Your friends know you have an executive function disorder. They will still be happier to get a response eventually. There might be some gentle ribbing, but it’ll be intended to be taken in stride.

I didn’t know I was on the spectrum until I got diagnosed earlier this year; I’d made this comic well before then (/I’m just sharing my old comics in this community) but in hindsight there’s a few of them that make more sense to me now that I know.

I’ve been thinking every so often that I need to reply to my friend’s text, because it’s been a while since he messaged me. Thinking it’d only been a few weeks, maybe a month tops.

    He texted me last June.

For me is more like “when i have the time i will reply”

Two seconds later: “i believe i have already replied to it so it’s fine”

Next day looking at my phone:

I don’t think day 2 actually requires an apology, it’s pretty clear that yesterday was probably busy. The whole advantage of SMS is the messages can be chronologically separated, maybe I like to go through them in the mornings or something.

Day 3, sure I can see wanting to apologize there.
