I thought that was still ongoing? When did they revert the change?
That does not affect my opinion of Mozilla one bit. If anything, I applaud them for integrating AI into the browser. Saves me the trouble of having to type in a URL and login to a website to access an AI; I can just hit Ctrl+Alt+X now.

When I was a kid, I used to drop my CD rips down to a 32,000kHz sample rate to make the WAV files smaller, because I couldn’t figure out MP3s yet. Adult me is horrified by the notion. But back then, sounding good enough was acceptable.
It’s okay, nobody knows how to properly link posts from other instances. As far as I’m aware, a proper linking system is only implemented for user profiles and communities.
