2 days agoStudies show that there are around 10-20 microplastic particles per liter in canned beverages. Carbonated sodas contain more (6-82), possibly due to the carbonation breaking down the lining in the can.
For comparison:
- tap water contains around 4-25 particles per liter
- bottled water contains 10-100 particles per liter

So if you’re going to avoid anything, avoid… tea bags, of all things.
